About that angry bird

Well I finished the angry bird, I'm happy with the way that he turned out. I have a few more that I plan on creating but maybe they'll be the other birds from the game. I have a few other loose ends that I tied up and I will be posting them in a few days. Lets just say I had a very productive 3 day weekend, I just wish I could have more days off so that I could keep working like this.

Finally completed something!

Since I've been sick for the past two days, I decided to stay in despite the holiday to tie up loose ends. It felt good to stay in for once, besides I have one less project on the list.

Can't stop, won't stop!

Sorry everyone, I promise to finish something one of these days.  I just couldn’t fight the urge to start making an angry bird for some reason. Completely random, but it was calling me. Hopefully I’ll actually finish making him, then work my way backwards to all the other half done projects laying on my work table.

New painting I'm working on

I haven't painted in quite a while but I've felt compelled to start this one. This face has been haunting me in my dreams for the past few weeks. Maybe it's the little miss no name doll that's facing me on the other side of my bedroom... Yeah, I'm quite sure that's the reason.

I'm going to try this again...

I started making this doll about 2 months ago then got side tracked with my Brother's wedding.  So now I'm back to to the drawing board with this little one again. I was just going to change up the arms with this doll but I've decided to change the way I make the legs as well. This one's going to stand. You'll see why in due time.

The blushing bride and nervous groom.

                                 

Well here is the finished blushing bride and nervous groom. The most challenging part was creating the groom since I never created a guy doll before. I never had to work with making pants, shirts or a jacket so it was pretty tough but I managed to put something together. There are quite a few things that I have to look out for next time. Overall, it was a very fun and challenging learning process. Big congrats to my brother and beautiful bride!

The dress

Here is a closer look at the dress. I tried to model it off of the bride's dress. I couldn't get the top the exact same way but its pretty close.
