New Hair
The more dolls I make, the more I learn. This one I hand sewed a wig and glued it on instead of gluing piece by piece. Way faster, no glue covered hands and nails. Best of all you use less hair!
Great work, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with your dolls. Thank you for the kind comment on my blog about my monkeys and the doll eye tutorial I wrote! Have you tried making the eyes yet? Hand made eyes give a special look to art dolls.
Thanks SpiritMama! You are welcome. And yes I did try out the eyes from your tutorial they are in my second and third posts. I loved the way that they came out but being that the heads on these dolls are so flat they protrude way too far out. Thats why I ended up flattening them out for these girls. But I will definitely be using them later on down the line when I make other types of dolls. Thanks for that :)
